Your baby’s first year goes by faster than you ever imagined. One moment they’re learning to roll over, and before you know it, they’re taking their first steps. That’s why the 6 to 12 month milestone is one of my favorite ages to photograph.
During this stage, most babies aren’t walking yet, and many are just beginning to sit independently. Instead of forcing complicated poses, I create timeless, natural portraits that celebrate exactly who your baby is at this beautiful stage of life.
The sweetest photographs often happen while your little one is safely in mom’s arms, where genuine smiles and loving connections happen naturally. We also create beautiful portraits with your baby lying on their back, tummy time images, and simple milestone setups that keep the focus on your baby’s expressions and personality.
My studio in Thompson’s Station, just south of Franklin and Nashville, is designed with a clean, modern style. I love soft, timeless colors that will still look beautiful hanging on your walls years from now.
When Should You Book?
I recommend reserving your session a few weeks in advance so you can choose the date that works best for your family.
Before your session, I’ll help you prepare with simple wardrobe recommendations. The studio has a few beautiful dresses available for moms, but I always encourage wearing something that feels like you. Personal style makes your photographs more meaningful and unique.
Professional hair and makeup can also be added to your experience, allowing you to relax and feel your best while enjoying this special time with your baby.
