Planning Your Session
Pregnancy is one of the most meaningful chapters in a woman’s life. My goal is to make the experience feel effortless, enjoyable, and personalized from the very beginning.
Once you inquire about a maternity session, we’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your vision. I want to understand what style of photographs you love, what makes you feel beautiful, and what type of images you hope to create. Whether you prefer timeless elegance, fashion-inspired portraits, soft motherhood imagery, or a more artistic approach, your session will be tailored specifically to you.
Your Studio Experience
Studio Focus House, located in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, provides a carefully curated wardrobe collection for maternity clients. Before your session, I will select several gowns and outfits based on your preferences, body type, and desired style. When you arrive, your wardrobe options will be prepared and ready for you, along with additional pieces if you’d like to explore more looks.
You may choose to arrive camera-ready or add professional hair and makeup services provided by our experienced makeup artist. Many of our clients enjoy beginning their experience with professional styling while we finalize wardrobe choices and plan the flow of the session.
Selecting Your Images
After your session, you will receive a proofing gallery the very same day. This gallery contains all of the best images from your session with watermarks, allowing you to comfortably review and select your favorite ten photographs for professional retouching.
Many clients discover additional images they love and choose to expand their collection. We also offer luxury heirloom albums, fine art wall portraits, and custom-designed artwork that allows your photographs to become part of your home and family legacy.
